First of all, that's not true! Everyone knows that us NorCal players play Street Friendly IV!

Have you ever listened to me open my big mouth on a podcast or a stream and thought to yourself, hey, I bet that Jared kid isn't as good at Street Fighter as he likes to think he is. Who are you to doubt El Dandy -- I mean, me? Well, it's time to put your judgmental attitude and Street Fighter skills to the test because when you lose it won't just be me who will be laughing, but the world!

On Tuesday, January 19 starting at 4:00PM PST, I'll be running the first major test for Mr Jared vs The World: the online Street Fighter IV stream where you'll have to face off in a one-on-one battle with me in front of an online audience. This is a series started by my good friend Haunts over at iPlayWinner (of which I'm a media consultant). We're doing a lot of experimentation with the concept and now I'm wanting to give it a shot with a fresh batch of ideas. 

Here are all the details you need to know to participate. 

- At 4:00PM PST on Tuesday, January 19, come back to this page or my uStream page (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/jaredrea) and wait for the stream to go live.

- Once the stream is live, start your own Player Match in Street Fighter IV on Xbox Live and send a Game Invite to my gamertag, "Mr Jared."

- Watch the stream and wait your turn as I'll be taking fight requests in the order of which they're received. Once I join your game (and this is important) make sure you PAUSE THE STREAM! Not pausing the stream will result in lagtastic matches and we'll all weep together.

- We'll then play a best 2 out of 3 set of matches. After the final match has concluded I will then move on to the next player.

And that's it! Also, as part of the experimentation I'll have voice chat enabled so that everyone on the stream can hear your beautiful voice, so bring a headset! Also, please remember that this is all in good fun so leave the salt in the kitchen!
